Logo Commission, part 2

I’m very excited to reveal the next couple sets of logos for my website that Jen Moore of Aries Designs has created for me!

After looking at the first set of logos, I told Jen that I love the blue-grey color she was using for the main lettering, and to keep exploring colors to go with that.  I asked if she would try to give me something more “overtly masculine,” which I feel dumb about saying; I didn’t have a better way to put it.  You hear about creative people meeting with clients who tell them stupid stuff that the creative person then has to interpret; I never thought I would fall into the “client” category!

Anyway, taking the notes that I gave her, Jen created these logos for me:

(new)jmgerraughtylogoAs you can see, she did a great job of running with the advice that I gave her!  I do think that these are more “masculine” than the other ones, and I love her exploring more colors.  These three made me miss the lyricism and elegance of the first two, though.

Jen went on to present me with two more:

(newest)jmgerraughtylogoOf all the new submissions, I like the last one the best (and yes, that might be because it’s the closest to my “prototype” logo that I’m using right now).  I’ve asked Jen to make me one more set of logos with some thoughts.  I’ll get those up as soon as I get them.

What do you think, guys?  I’d really like your input on this!
